In the new era of strategic interactions between China and Africa, China's influence on Africa has expanded tremendously. China has made it possible for Africans to benefit from trade  and development opportunities in Africa by providing economic and operational proposals. At the same time, these strategic relations have faced challenges and criticisms, and there are concerns  about establishing an unbalanced relationship between the two sides. The main question that is raised is that China's policy in Africa is aimed at accumulating China's power or improving the development process in Africa? The hypothesis that is proposed is that China in Africa by providing significant investments in the fields of economy, construction and infrastructure, despite the fact that it mainly expands its power and influence and plays a big role in this region in order to accumulate its power, it has also strengthened the improvement of the development process and economic growth in some African countries. This article seeks to examine the trend of China-Africa relations using qualitative method and with an analytical-descriptive approach based on the theory of neorealism. The results of the research show that china’s investments in Africa, while expanding its politicala and economic influence as a tool to strengthen its global position, have led to a relative improvement in infrastructure development, economic growth, and job creation in some African countries. However, these collaborations have been accompanied by challenges such as concerns about fiscal dependence, rising debt and long-term development instability.
